G-AORG, 'Duchess of Brittany'
Preserving an historic de Havilland Heron aircraft based in Jersey.
G-AORG, the Duchess of Brittany, is a 1956 de Havilland Heron based in Jersey. After flying for Jersey Airlines, and then the the Royal Navy, she was bought by a group of volunteers to run 'family and friends' flights, before falling into administration during COVID19 due to restoration costs. I bought her for £1 as a community project and am still trying to fine her a sustainable future.
If you would like to help, or have photographs, logbooks, or anecdotes relating to G-AORG, please get in touch.
